Christmas is a time for Giving Blog Hop ~ #WoundedWarriorProject

This is a special project near and dear to my heart. My husband and myself are US Navy Veterans and my son is an active duty Marine. When this came up, I jumped into it wholeheartedly! I'm not just pimping my book (though it is about a wounded warrior!) I encourage everyone to donate to this project.

Every little bit helps our men and women acclimate to coming back home, providing assistance to improve their lives after being wounded. Many types of support they and their families need are not provided except by groups like the Wounded Warrior Project.

Please be generous and donate to the cause. Every penny will be put to good use supporting those that have lost so much so that we may continue to live our lives in freedom. Each of the authors participating have all donated. Many of us are veterans or have friends or family in the military. So join us for this great cause.

Royalties for the month of November for A Saint's Salvation are  being donated. I don't have the amount yet but as soon as it's in, I'll be donating it to this wonderful project.
That is above the amount that I've already put in. All the author's on the hop have pledged a minimum of $30.

Since this is a holiday hop with a cause and I appreciate all my readers, I am raffling off a copy of A Saint's Salvation.
It has a wounded warrior and takes place at Christmas one of my favorite times of year.

A SAINT’S SALVATION
by Beverly Ovalle
Published by Secret Cravings Publishing
Released February 10, 2014

Blurb:
Corporal Nicholas 'Saint' Santiago needs to go home to reclaim the man he used to be. To be the man he was before Operation Enduring Freedom slowly hardened his heart. He needs to reconnect to the values and the reasons he is doing what he does. Saint also needs to try to forget the courageous woman he knows was meant to be his.

Petty Officer Angelina Jones' life changed the moment Saint saved her life. She survived the blast but now has to deal with the fact that she will never be whole. Knowing Saint received a 'Dear John' letter, Angelina has no intention of being his rebound romance. She needs to be loved for herself. She needs to forget about the one man she knows was meant to be hers.

They each try to find someone to help them forget.

But what does fate have planned for them?

  1. Thank you to you and your family for your service. Thank you for supporting such a worthy cause. Military life has been a huge part of my life, from being a military brat until my father retired, meeting and marrying a man in the military, and now our son who has been in since 2001 with 7 deployments, 4 to Iraq and 3 to Afghanistan. We know all too well what it is like to have him overseas during the holidays. Even our daughter in law served.
