Blogging from A to Z: Romance

R is for Romance

I love romance. It is the genre I read the most, though not exclusively. I love my HEA (happily ever after) which is what I always get with romance.

RWA (Romance Writers of America) define romance as:
"Two basic elements comprise every romance novel: a central love story and an emotionally-satisfying and optimistic ending."

Romance is different to everyone.

Romance can be dancing to a slow song while he sings in your ear. I'll never forget this song.

Me being me, I sang back this one to him as I danced and teased him as he laughed and finally spun me around only to have me end in his arms as the rest of the world melted away.

Romance is what you make it.

What is your most remembered romantic moment?

  1. I have to admit my hubby & I don't do romance that much - we enjoy having a laugh - but I think I knew he was the one for me when after a dinner dance we had attended (just before we started going out) he went back to the hotel where it had been held to look for my much loved dangly diamante earring I'd lost somewhere in their huge banqueting hall and he found it!!

  2. Awe, that's so sweet. Laughter and love go hand in hand. Add in thoughtfulness and you've hit the payload in my opinion.
