She heard Crag snickering somewhere behind her. She turned and splashed at him too. “I would have saved you. If you’d quit splashing and stand up, you’ll see you could stand.” Ari frowned suddenly. “Oh no. You can’t stand with your leg.” He started toward her and Hope pushed deeper into the water. “Leave me be.” She began treading water, deep enough that she didn’t have to put weight on her leg. Ignoring both of them, she sank under water to get her hair out of her face. When she popped out Hope screamed. Ari was right there, grinning at her. “What the heck?” “I was just making sure you were okay.” His eyes twinkling at her. No way was she falling for that, no matter how attractive it made him. “And I brought you the soap. How will you get clean without it?” “Fine. Give me the soap.” Ari held it back out of her reach. “No. You’ll drop it out here.” Hope growled at him. Yes, she sure did. Hope didn’t know quite how to take his teasing, if he was teasing. Ari laughed. “You can come in closer and I’ll help hold you while you wash or I can wash you here while you float.” Hope didn’t answer, but she swam in closer to shore. No way was she letting him run his hands all over her.

Ari: Male dragon, black scales tipped with blue and golden eyes. When he changes Ari has black hair, golden eyes and stocky muscular body that he doesn’t mind showing off. Outgoing with a wicked sense of humor, He has one thing on his mind, his mate. He’ll do anything to make her his, especially if it involves getting naked. He runs on the theory that it’s better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Bats? Ruining writing time?

Saving Wisconsin's bats

Bats are a vital part of many ecosystems. They help control pests and are pollinators and seed-dispersers for countless plants. As predators of biting insects, bats may also play an important role in reducing risk of insect-borne diseases, such as the West-Nile Virus. For now, Wisconsin's bat population is stable. But a deadly fungus is racing through cave-dwelling bat populations in eastern states causing extensive mortality, and unfortunately reached the southwest corner of the state in spring 2014.

Why bats?

They are causing the lack of writing time in my household. 

Say what?

Truth! My daughter and granddaughter (the cuteness!) have bats in their apartment. It is illegal to remove bats when they might be nesting. Early spring and late fall is the time they can be moved. 

How do I know? :) How do you think? I had to have my house bat proofed! They managed to find their way into mine and out into the rooms! A man and a large bill later and I've been bat free for 4 years.

So, since the bats aren't moving, my daughter did - back home. A six week old darling keeps grandma here busy! Too darn busy to touch the keyboard. I'm having to sneak in writing time and it's proving almost impossible! 

Thank goodness I have one story coming out in a box set on 9/19/2015, another in edits coming out in October and I'm working on following up my beta readers suggestions on another to get that story submitted.

No time for writing anything new.

Nick quickly took advantage, pressing his hand deeper as he raised her up, her ass on his forearm. Angelina squirmed, rubbing against him. Angelina ‘Doc’ Jones She had the hots for Santiago but everyone knew he’d been dumped. Doc didn’t want to be the rebound. I'm on vacation by myself at RAGT 2013. I found a couple of cover models running around and took the oportunity of getting my picture taken. I haven't felt men that firm in a long time, LOL.

We went to see my cousin get married in Las Vegas and my parents ended up renewing their vows for their 50th anniversary!

My parents in front, my husband, daughter, my Aunt & Uncle and my brother, his wife and sons were there. They were remarried under the Welcome to Las Vegas sign!

This one isn't even away from home! We were having a leisurely lunch on my parent's boat. I was on vacation though.
