EXCERPT

She heard Crag snickering somewhere behind her. She turned and splashed at him too. “I would have saved you. If you’d quit splashing and stand up, you’ll see you could stand.” Ari frowned suddenly. “Oh no. You can’t stand with your leg.” He started toward her and Hope pushed deeper into the water. “Leave me be.” She began treading water, deep enough that she didn’t have to put weight on her leg. Ignoring both of them, she sank under water to get her hair out of her face. When she popped out Hope screamed. Ari was right there, grinning at her. “What the heck?” “I was just making sure you were okay.” His eyes twinkling at her. No way was she falling for that, no matter how attractive it made him. “And I brought you the soap. How will you get clean without it?” “Fine. Give me the soap.” Ari held it back out of her reach. “No. You’ll drop it out here.” Hope growled at him. Yes, she sure did. Hope didn’t know quite how to take his teasing, if he was teasing. Ari laughed. “You can come in closer and I’ll help hold you while you wash or I can wash you here while you float.” Hope didn’t answer, but she swam in closer to shore. No way was she letting him run his hands all over her.

Nick quickly took advantage, pressing his hand deeper as he raised her up, her ass on his forearm. Angelina squirmed, rubbing against him. Nick bent and sucked a nipple into his mouth, teasing it through the silk. He slid a finger in and out of her heat, lightly rubbing her clit with his thumb. Angelina moaned and tightened around his finger. Pressing her close against him, Nick increased his thrusts. Nick bit her nipple and was rewarded with a cry as Angelina clamped down, drenching his hand as she came apart in his arms.
She placed her head against his shoulder, shivers running through her while her arms and legs tightened around him. Nick pulled his hand free from her warmth and licked his fingers clean, making smacking noises as he did.
“Pig.” It was so low Nick barely heard the comment. Nick chuckled as Angelina giggled in his arms.
“Did you want another glass of champagne?” Angelina shook her head and squirmed against him. Nick squeezed her to him, enjoying the feel of her, despite the tightness in his groin. “Are you ready for dinner? Or shall we just head straight to dessert?”

New Release ~ Norty or Nice

NORTY OR NICE

Blurb

What happens when Santa’s ‘nice daughter’ Natalie decides she’s had enough of mucking out reindeer stalls and attempts living life on the ‘norty’ side?

Answer…her guardian Rudy decides, once and for all, to take Natalie Claus in his more than capable—hands. To show her that she can be the naughty girl she desires to be, but only with him. When she discovers the beast inside of him, will she run away or harness him to her?

With a tinkling of bells and plenty of snogging under the mistletoe, Rudy unleashes a side to Natalie that she has never felt before. Join this couple on the ride of their life as the good girl finally finds her naughty side.

Love and laughter await Natalie on the sleigh ride of romance, but is everyone who they appear to be?

Excerpt One

“I wish just for one Christmas, I could be the naughty one and get away with it like my sister does!”
As she said her wish out loud, a shooting star crossed the sky, landing with a whoosh and hiss in the cold snow. Natalie pulled up her long red dress and trudged through the deep piles to where a small crater had melted a well through the snow. Using her rarely-used power of frost, she cooled the piece of metal lying there with her breath and watched as her magic turned it from something grey and unformed into a glittering frost necklace, interspersed with red jewels. Natalie picked it up and placed it around her neck. A feeling of recklessness surged through her. With a click of her fingers, Natalie Claus disappeared.
Natalie was single-minded as she attempted a confident walk over to where the object of her planned seduction stood. She smiled to herself, wondering if anyone there realized that the virginal daughter of Father Christmas was walking amongst them, let alone that the bad one was. Natalie looked back at where her sister had been.

Excerpt Two

“She’s gone again,” Natalie whispered under her breath. Pulling herself together, she wobbled slightly on the high heels and concentrated on putting one foot in front of another without falling over. Heel, toe. Heel, toe...Hello? Natalie’s head snapped back and she looked up, up and up. He towered over her, the hint of a smile on his full lips as his amber gaze met her green sparkling one.
“Can I help you?” His voice was deep and rough. The sound of it sent jolts of excitement through Natalie’s untried body.
“Yes, you can,” she said in a breathy soft tone. The man leaned down so he could hear her speak. As he did, Natalie seized her chance. She reached up on tip-toe and placed her lips on his. At his lack of response, Natalie pulled away. She turned on her heel. Rather wobbly and mortified, she fled as fast as her short legs would let her, grabbing the bottle of champagne from the bar.
“Look at me, Nat, look at me!”
Her head snapped back. His eyes were dark brown, hinting at suppressed anger.
“I am not a thing,” he told her. “I am your lover and your mate. You and I have been destined to be together since you were born.”
“That’s rot,” Natalie spat back, trying to get out of his arms.
“Really? Look at this, then.” Pulling her to a mirror, he pointed out a small red heart shape above her breast. On Rudy’s chest, there was an identical mark. “This only happens when two mates become one. Which you and I did just now.”
“Impossible. It’s wrong on so many levels. You aren’t human,” Natalie cried.
“I am human. I am your protector, your lover. The other half of you,” Rudy insisted. “I take the form of a reindeer to protect you. The heart that beats here…” He took her hand, pressing it against his chest. “…It’s human, like yours is. I just come with something extra.” When he loosened his grip on her, Natalie stole her chance.
“And I’m supposed to spend the rest of my life mucking out your stable?”
Clicking her fingers, Natalie Claus disappeared in a glimmer of snowflakes.

New Release ~ A Siren's Romance

 A SIREN’S REVENGE

Blurb
All Annabelle desired in life was her Prince Charming and a fairytale ending. So when she felt the presence of her soul-mate, she was more than ready to meet him and have her happily ever after. However, the first meeting with her one and only proved to be extremely disappointing.

Aaron, the angry immortal, didn’t want a relationship let alone a soul-mate. He’d been down that road before and wished never to repeat it. His duty to protect as many supernaturals as he could was his first and only priority.

After Aaron heard a group of people went missing, Annabelle offered her help. Aaron reluctantly accepted. However, the more they worked together to find the missing people, the more Aaron fell in love with her. Just when he thought he’d be able to completely give his heart, the true intended victims were revealed. Was he doomed to repeat his history?
Excerpt
With incredible speed and strength he quickly planted his feet on the ground, and walked toward the dress shop. Being immortal had its perks, sometimes. Aaron dressed in all black, complete with black sunglasses. A sheath was strapped across his back to carry the sword of Harpe.
He moved lightning quick across the street, but no one seemed to notice a six-foot-six muscled man with a sword. Once inside the dress shop, he stood paralyzed. It was literally a whole store of dresses. “This is ridiculous,” he muttered. Where the people outside were oblivious to him, inside a few women raced toward him. He tensed.
“Are you here with someone, sir?” one woman asked.
“You can’t see the bride in her dress,” the other said.
He relaxed his fighting stance giving the ladies a quizzical look.
“If I can’t see her in the dress, why wear it?”
“It’s tradition, sir. Now are you here with your bride?”
How to answer that one?
Ignoring the nuisances, he headed toward where he felt Annabelle. As both women began to follow after him, he quickly turned around and growled. Immediately, they stopped in their tracks and shrank away. Thank the gods. Finally at the back of the store, he easily crept in the dressing area undetected, quickly jimmied the lock to Annabelle’s dressing room, and slipped in.
Aaron stood behind her in the corner of the rather large dressing room. He leaned against the wall resting one foot over the other while crossing his arms at his chest. Her high blonde ponytail fell forward as she fumbled with a periwinkle colored halter top dress. His mouth watered watching her in a strapless white bra with matching string bikini panties. Then she turned around.
“You!”
Aaron raced to place his hand over her mouth before she alerted the whole store.
Shhh,” he said, removing his hand.
“You,” she whispered, poking him in the chest.
“Why have you been hiding from me? I know you been watching me, I could feel you. Are you like a pervert, getting off on stalking me?” She poked him again.
Well, he certainly had that coming, didn’t he?
“No, I was doing research.”
“Research!” she whispered loudly. “Oh really, how do you like your findings or do you need to do more reeeesearch?”
“Listen to me, Annabelle—”
She gasped. “You know my name?”
“Yes, now let me finish.”
“But how?”
Aaron sighed. “You know I’ve been watching you. You can feel me like I can feel you. I also can hear things. Now I’m only here to tell you this, me and you,” he pointed to himself, then her, “will not work out. You need to move on, find someone else.”
“But you’re my soul-mate, asshole. I’m supposed to move on with you!”
“Well, I’m sorry, princess, but it’s not going to happen. Now leave me alone and stop looking for me.”
“What the fuck? Are you kidding me?” she asked whispering loudly again.
Aaron hid a smile, hearing her curse. He liked her fire. She wasn’t afraid to say what she thought. She was feisty, perfect, his. What? No, not yours! You’re here to tell her to leave you alone.
Annabelle slapped him across the face. “You jerk! Why did you come here? Why didn’t you just leave? Why didn’t you run far away?” He almost smirked thinking he saw steam coming out of her ears.
He couldn’t answer and frankly he didn’t know why he stayed either. He did know the sight of a fired up Annabelle made his black jeans very uncomfortable.
She poked him with her index finger until his back was flush against the wall. “You don’t know, do you? I know though. You. Are. My. Soul-mate. You jackass!”
Annabelle pressed up against him breathing heavily. Her hands balled in fists against his chest.
“Don’t poke me again.”
“What are you going to do about?”
The hell if he knew.
One of the employees interrupted them. “Are you okay, miss? Your sister said to check on you while they are still getting their dresses fitted to be altered.”
Annabelle kept a pleasant tone, never looking away from him. “I’m fine.”
“Okay then, miss, just yell if you need me. I will be outside putting some dresses away.”
Annabelle backed away from him. If Aaron was uncomfortable before, now, his dick screamed in pain. He knew she felt him, she practically wore nothing anyway.
“I like the pink one,” he said as he left. He winked, passing the woman who interrupted them. “She’s all yours.” The woman’s face reddened.
Annabelle stuck her head out of the dressing room to yell to him. “This isn’t over. I will find you and you better believe we are working this out.”
He laughed. “I have no doubt, princess. But, I warn you, you’ll be the one who gets hurt.”
