Coming June 16... A Dragon's Treasure

A dragon’s most desired treasure is his mate, but what if she didn’t want to be?

Kai has been hunting for his mate for a very long time. Drawn to a singular place on earth, filled with treasures, he still seeks the greatest treasure of them all. His mate.

Fleeing danger, Connie runs into the arms of destiny, but she has plans already, and a Dragon mate is not on the agenda.

Kai has waited centuries for Connie, and he will claim his mate. Patience may not be a Dragon’s virtue, but he always gets his treasure.

Sparks fly in this humorous erotic tale of mating and mayhem.

This is why I've been so quiet! I've been working away to get this out! I'm finishing up the edits and hope to have this ready for pre-sale mid to late May. I won't give a definite date as I'm planning a cover reveal!

Movie Review ~ Crying Wolf

There is a lot of strange and weird goings on in the little village of Deddington. For centuries a pack of werewolves have resided in the sleepy town but when local girl Charlotte meets a particularly gruesome death, the town is descended upon by reporters, crazy detectives and lunatic hunters desperate to get their story, solve the crime and kill the beasts. But these wolves are smart...very smart.

My Review:

Remember, I like B rated movies! This definitely fit the bill. The cover of the film looks awesome. If only the werewolves had really looked that way!

I laughed and snorted my way through the movie. I about choked when the whole pack changed. I think they forgot the fur on the arms and feet of one. I spit out my water I laughed so hard. Campers, guides, and thieves abound in this hilarious tale of werewolves and revenge. No, they're not extinct! (You'll have to watch it to find out, lol.)

A mix mash of characters weave through out the tale. From old and senile to young and hot, this group of friends eats and drinks their way through the film. Told as a story in a book a nosy private eye reads, Crying Wolf is entertaining from beginning to end.

Curious? Here's where you can find it Amazon! Surprised? LOL. I'm not!

Blogging from A to Z: Werewolf

W is for Werewolf

From Lon Chaney Jr. to Taylor Lautner werewolves have caught and held our imaginations.

I think the first one that really caught and fired my imagination was An American Werewolf in London.

The transformation scene made it look real.

So I always wonder. Living in Wisconsin with woods and land everywhere who knows what could be out there.

Lori Handeland set some of her werewolf books in Wisconsin. Carrie Ann Ryan has her Redwood Pack and there are way too many werewolf romances to list.

What do you think?

Could they be real?

Who is your favorite werewolf? Horror or Romance?

#Review ~ Accidentally Wolf by Elle Boon

Accidentally Wolf

For veterinarian Cora Welch, being bitten by a young injured wolf wasn’t the best day of her life, nor the raging fever that followed. However, finding herself faced with a naked man proved even more than she had ever bargained for.

Zayn couldn’t believe what his inner wolf was telling him when he first saw the human doctor Cora, standing in nothing but a towel. The last thing he wanted was a mate, especially an accidental one. And at a time when danger seemed to be coming at the Mystic Pack from an unknown source, it just wasn’t in his plans.

All he had to do was get Cora through the fever, keep her safe from the other pack, and keep his fangs to himself. But nobody told him he’d have to fight a mating urge so strong within himself, that it was a losing battle. Now, he has to explain to Cora that he accidentally marked her for a second time, making her just like him.

Cora knew something was not right in her world the moment she wanted to climb her rescuer like a tree. Hearing Zayn tell her she was now a werewolf, like him and his pack, she realized she now had a home. If her new mate still wanted her after he heard about her family, Cora knew she’d be happy to be an accidental wolf.

Review:

Accidentally Wolf is a well written, engaging and descriptive tale. Zayn is a hot scrumptious werewolf. He's not Alpha but holy cow he is definitely an alpha in my book. Cora reacts as you'd expect a woman to react in that situation. As a veterinarian she'd hope the wolf cub wouldn't bite her, but she wasn't surprised. Enter Zayn, who comes to rescue his nephew, who she can't keep her tongue off of, LOL. A tasty treat evidently.
Elle Boon brings you right into the story and keeps you there. A believable world with sadness and joy and lots and lots of sexiness. Oh, and bad guys too! Normally werewolves are immune to lots of stuff, drugs, alcohol, etc. Not so much in Accidentally Wolf which makes this an unusual and a don't put it down read.
I'm eagerly awaiting the next in the series. There are peeks into a further story so I hope it is just as good as this one.

#Review ~ Raining Kisses (The Opeth Pack Saga Book 2) by Sascha Illyvich

Raining Kisses

by Sascha Illyvich
Blurb:
After slaughtering Katarina's brother and father, along with a handful of other wolves who tried to abuse them, Nicholaus realizes his true darkness and decides to leave Hungary to keep his lovers safe from him. Relocating to Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nicholaus made a life for himself where he controlled the shots until the Opeth Pack messenger shows up with one of his lovers, requesting his assistance back in Hungary.

Katarina's other lover Krystyna has done something bad, but what, Katarina doesn't know. Her heart aches for both her stubborn lovers and forces her to find the courage to venture to America and bring Nicholaus back. Once the threesome reunites, sparks explode but secrecy threatens to tear the triad apart, as does Prophecy. Will Nicholaus remain with the two women who hold his heart, or will his lack of control make him return to the States, alone forever?

Available at Amazon

My Review:
5 kisses

I have to admit, you don't always find a sequel that is as good or better than the first one, but I loved this even more than His Reign.

The emotions come through, the angst and the love. The characters complement each other making this a very believable triad. I had to laugh at the women saying the Opeth Pack men were idiots! Don't all women say that at some point or another? Nicholaus is as hard headed as they come. Their faults make this so much more believable.

All three, Katarina, Krystyna and Nicholaus make mistakes. The good thing about a true mates as that they have enough love to forgive them. No matter how unforgivable they appear to be.

This is an awesome book and I'm hooked on the series. Sascha has a way with words and emotions that draw you in. Raining Kisses is smoking hot, the love scenes sensual and exciting. All around a wonderful book. It is a stand alone, so you can read it by itself, but why would you?

Well, that's my review and I'm sticking to it. I'm now off to read Kisses Fall. (Yup the Opeth Pack Saga #3)
